Multi-rider cycling studio every Wednesday at 6pm.
Our class is for athletes of ALL abilities. One of the benefits of riding indoors on a Smart Trainer is that the workout is designed around each person’s ability level. We will help you cut the learning curve. We currently have 7 Wahoo Kickr bicycle trainers. Most of are rides around between 60-75 minutes with high quality.
We have broken up the year into 8-Week Blocks. The focus for each block changes with the demands of the season.
Training phases
TRANSITION PHASE — Nov & Dec
Focus: Incorporate some very short intervals (V.02 Max power, CP 5, Short Sprints), pedaling skills and specific cycling strength.STRENGTH PHASE — Jan & Feb
Focus: Improve cycling specific strength combining short and long intervals performed with high tension and low cadences.CLIMBING & THRESHOLD (FTP) PHASE — March & April
Focus: Increasing sustainable power – You will see a variety of longer efforts around your functional threshold power working to improve overall cycling performancePOWER PHASE — May
Focus Shift to short and harder efforts – increasing your VO2 power and getting you ready for your big race.RACE PHASE — June & Aug
Focus: We work to keeping all of your energy systems strong.MAINTENANCE PHASE — Sept & Oct
Focus: Hold onto your fitness that you’ve busted your chops for. Including a variety of interesting workouts touching on various energy systems.

The Pedal Faster cycling studio is open to all levels of triathletes and cyclists, whether you area a beginner or a serious rider. In today’s cycling world more riders are are focusing on technique, efficiency, power, and other data while training. Why? Because they simply want to improve.
