MY PHILOSOPHY
My endurance sports journey began in college as a half marathon runner before transitioning to triathlon six years ago. Since then, I’ve completed multiple Ironman 70.3 and Ironman 140.6 races and continue to challenge myself as an athlete, with my current goal of qualifying for the Ironman World Championship in Kona. My own experiences have taught me that long-term success comes from consistent training, patience, and adapting the plan to fit the individual athlete.
As a USAT Level I Certified Coach and licensed Physical Therapist, I bring an evidence-based approach to endurance coaching that emphasizes both performance and longevity. I believe the best training plan is one that allows athletes to stay healthy, train consistently, and build confidence over time. My background in physical therapy provides a unique understanding of movement, biomechanics, injury prevention, and return-to-sport principles, helping athletes train smarter while minimizing setbacks.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with cross-country runners, distance runners, and triathletes returning to sport after injury. Those experiences have reinforced my belief that every athlete deserves an individualized approach that considers not only their goals, but also their lifestyle, training history, and overall well-being.
I believe coaching is about more than prescribing workouts—it’s about building a partnership based on communication, trust, and education. I want my athletes to understand the purpose behind their training, develop confidence in the process, and enjoy the journey as much as the finish line. Whether you’re preparing for your first triathlon, stepping up to longer distances, or chasing a personal best, my goal is to help you become a stronger, healthier, and more resilient athlete.
I’m excited to be part of your journey and look forward to helping you achieve goals you may not have thought possible.
